Happy MLK Day! To say the least! It is a day of remembering someone who lost his life fighting for the freedom of Black Americans in a White Supremacist America that they would like many African Americans to forget, but already so much has been forgotten. They only show us the pictures that would satisfy the human part of our souls, but let us not forget what all MLK and Black Americans faced in America during the Civil Rights Movement. Let us remember how the news will overshadow this day with the inauguration of President Trump.
President Trump Inauguration is just one way they are trying to overshadow the day, but to those who are fortunate enough, the video above will not sit well in your spirit when you think of the men, women and children who suffered by the hands of our lawmakers. Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream. He and many others have inspired me to keep dreaming. However, this is not an article about white supremacy, racism or any other narrative you may anticipate. This is a search for truth and spiritual enlightenment.
In recent days, I have dreamed of having clarity to who I am and it starts with the history of my ancestors from recent to former days. I did not adopt my "My ancestors were slaves," narrative mindset, I am one to go against the grain. Yet, have continually searched for the truth of the foundation of my very existence. With so little time on earth, and so many historical records destroyed, I have no other choice but to follow my intuition.
In a recent search for truth, I came across a picture of Elon Musk holding a black Jesus (AI-generated or real). It made me wonder, where this white Jesus that all of our mothers and grandmothers had in the house came from. The picture was called "Jesus, Head of the Christ." It was created by an American painter named Warner Sallman in1940. During a time where Black Americans were in the thick of White Supremacy.

However, this creation and every creation that followed depicted Jesus as being white." In a white-washed society, it got me thinking. Years ago, I remember seeing the leaders of the Catholic Church bowing down in prayer to the Black Madonna (Yes, I named myself after her and added the HP, but that's a story for another time). I wondered why the leaders of the Christian church were bowing to the Black Madonna and not the Virgin Mary. So I began deep diving and discovered that Black Madonna is the real Virgin Mary.

However, something in my unawakened mind didn't want to accept the fact the son that she held Horus was the real "Jesus" until today. I can no longer blind myself to the fact that the Virgin Mary is depicted as holding the child Jesus, and if she is holding the child Jesus, yet is depicted from the Black Madonna, I am forced into my truth. It is a cold hard truth, but a truth to my ancestory nonetheless. Having to come to terms will lead me into discovering the truth of about Horus and Egyptian culture.
Truth is sometimes hard to accept because it makes you question everything you believe in, but not knowing what country in Africa you are from, or what your ancestor's spiritual beliefs have kept Black Americans in the dark for too long. Since today is Martin Luther King Day (not his actual birthday) I pay homage to one of the Black American prophets who had a dream that we would one day overcome. That we would be free, and althought he was a devout Southern Baptist Reverend who had also come from parents of slavery, he believed in his dream.
I too have a dream. I have a dream that Black Americans and all Americans for that matter would finally seek the truth of who they really are. Why are you here? Where did you come from and What were your ancestor's spiritual beliefs? KNOW THY SELF!
Maybe that is the problem in American culture, knowing thy self is not glamourized but something foreign for many, but when you KNOW THY SELF, you can LOVE THY SELF and truly love your neighbor. I am in the business of love and helping others discover their truth. Yet, what can I say, Christianity is in my blood through my lineage. I have benefited a lot from my American spiritual beliefs. However, I know there is more to me, I can feel it yearning and crying out to be discovered. Therefore, I am definitely on a mission to discover my hidden truth.
On this MLK Day, 2025, let us discover our truths and KNOW THY SELF so we too can dream. After all, would tarot be needed if we started with self-love self-discovery, and spiritual truths? I hope as the year progresses, I can help more of you on your journey to not only healing but discovering spiritual truths..... this is my dream!
“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.” -Steve Jobs
